Look Books

These are a range of look books that charlie and myself went to gather images of, we had to make sure that when we were creating our own work that it played into the design of what others would normally look like. We didn't want to design something that stand out a mile and  look unprofessional.

Some of these designs work really well especially the ones which show how we communicate much better such as the abstract ones with hardly any text on there.

Educational

The quick colour scheme is something that gently makes something come together and link up to create a solid way of working, this then can relate each colour to a separate section on each of them all. The simple design on the left will balance out the colour on the right.

The Universe

The first thing that caught my eye about the design of this was the fold and bind technique that they have used, this was from the accordion bind technique, this is something that i would like to test out myself and a way in which i can then make something more interesting with something similar to this.

The second thing was the very last image, the way that all the wholes have been cut out except for the large red circle showing the image that they want to display, this is an interesting technique which will allow myself to draw the attention of the public to what i want them to see.

Underground Cookery School

This design is something more visually interesting when it comes to educational design, however the main aspect needs to stick because no matter how attractive something can look, if it doesn't have a easy readability and legibility aspect of it then it wont work overall.

This layout appears to be really well laid out. Their appears to be a high level of hi-arachy so that you can see which step is needed to be taken to cook a meal.
