Obediah - Dansk (fashion magazine)

Due to me creating the look book for the fashion clothing brand 'Obediah' that we are creating, i will need to look into the types of ways that modern typography and layout for design and fashion magazines are created will now be high on my to do list.

The layout on these are abit too random for me however there are some sections which I think influence the way that I design. 

Reveal 2 - Kaleid

This is now starting to look more into the conceptual side of things and how the images can be laid out in certain ways to start to effect the way that were looking at typography, the type is rather minimal and this makes it easier to work with when placing such abstract imagery in there. 

Reveal 2 - Yard, Risk & Business

The design work inside of this magazine isn't something that i would consider to be the best style of layout or design, but the front cover really engages me as a designer and U think that it could be something that will help me to press on when I am moving forward with my own design.

There seems to be a thing about minimal design which has a clear concise way of communicating which attracts me to the idea of how it will all start to work together which makes me want to look, touch and be one with it. 

Reveal 2 - Pantone Brief

The concept for this design is rather interesting, the way that each one colour has to been used for the background but then a design placed over the top to try and work with pantones. Even though the layout is really really simple it still plays a huge part in making this design work, the colours selected work well with one another which helps to force this design along.

Reveal 2 - Creative Publication Covers

These creative publication covers have inspired me into wanting to get the most from my designs on reveal, its not something that you get an opportunity to make sure that you create correct everyday, with such high demand on the work of professionals for there work and others that i would wish to make for this very project. 

My favourite from all of these designs is the Personal Journal with the large almost abstract image as the main feature but then a white section down the side for the information, this makes it really interesting to look at whilst loosing no legibility or readability. 

Reveal 2 - Typographic Posters

More inspirational typographic posters that will influence the way in which I will create for the Reveal 2 magazine  posters. I prefer some of these to others, the green at the bottom is a rather strong design however the E on the end of adobe isn't perfect for how I would design it, The one above that is one which looks like the centre of a circle has been removed and placed down into it, this is much more along the style of how i would want things to be created and finalised if i were to design this.
