Fear is the Thief of Dreams

Hopes and Dreams

This work for me has a excellent way to communicate how it doesn't have to be only print out two dimensional images which work for a graphic design outcome, this work is more impressive then a lot of the other blog posts i have done purely because there is so much skill and talent which has been needed to create this outstanding collection of design.

Olly Moss

A selection of sketches

A selection of sketches

An assortment of shirts for various companies

At the beginning of 2009, I started the Make Something Cool Every Day project. Here are some of my contributions.

Episode posters for the excellent podcast, A Life Well Wasted.

Gig postersm, Some real, some for fun.

Officially licensed, custom posters for movie screenings at The Alamo Drafthouse
Commemorative posters for the officially licensed Mondo Star Trek print series.
Saul Bass-inspired posters for the viral campaign promoting Lost's final season.

Redesigned posters for famous films.

This is more work from the designer "Olly Moss" i love how simplistic some of the work is and then his illustration work shows how good his natural drawing skills can be.

Olly Moss

silk screened posters to promote the 2010 rolling roadshow tour.

this work is how i like to work as the spot colour effect works well and really draws the attention towards it, ill be putting more work up from this designer cause his work is truly inspirational.

2009 Parsons Communication Design Book

This is the design work which really catches my eye as i have always had a strong interest into editorial work, how the layout within the book has such a strong and clean outlook makes it strong and very readable. Also the use of how the C had been reversed to create the D shape but in a creative way, this incorporated with the cyan spot colour makes it work well and catches the eye and gives what i think is a very attractive design outcome.

Cavan Huang

Excellent use of how you can incorporate 3d letter forms into a design which really displays a use for both ways to work in unison and makes it all deliver the messages that it should. The work of Cavan Huang really tells a story of how a message doesn't have to be readable or legible to be successful, with this in mind ill advance along my graphic design career.

Graphic Design.. is the effective delivery of a message, idea or concept through the use of visual language.

These are some images which i found link with "Graphic Design.. is the effective delivery of a message, idea or concept through the use of visual language." this has a more diverse look at the way these designs are created as there are more three dimensional design work and also a more complex look at typography which really interests me, below are three quotes which caught my eye whilst finding these designers above.

Craig Holden Feinberg - Graphic Design is not a job but a lifestyle.

Rafael Esquer - Make the idea clear and simple, but the design suprising and beautiful.

Scott King - I keep trying because i cant do anything else.
