Craig Ward

This is the standard of computer skills which i would like to achieve by the end of my three year course at Leeds, the professional outcome which has been achieved on this makes me want to learn new and enhance my skills on programs such as photoshop, indesign and illustrator. these are the three main programs which i would like to know the ins and outs of before i leave. I believe that the skills would be highly valuable in the design industry and would give me the advantage in the creative industry.

This image from Craig Ward has a rather interesting approach as he has formed the countries into a plate then used simple shapes to create the knife and fork, together this gets the message across for the economist and is a strong piece of graphic design due to simple change between the red and white colours. again this is a strong inspiration to me, even though the work is simple it will stay play a strong impact into the work i aim to produce.

This is the work of Craig Ward, this typographic designer has a very unique way to work which creates this outstanding outcome of work which from a distance looks as if the text sits underneath the rest of the imagery but when you see on the side angle, it has all been hand crafted into the vine work and creates this outstanding piece of work. This is the standard of work which i aspire to be able to create in the future.
