Colour for Print ... packaging & promotion

Monochrome and Tints

This simple way of looking at the way in which this packaging has been created only using a spot colour and also a tint of that colour, this makes the way in which these have been created work the best. the simple tints of blue and the way that the bag has been made will work to a simple print costs and it will make sure that the cost can be kept down so that you can see how its made.

This is another great example of spot colour, even when printed onto different stocks to make it look different but it will still work on a way in which you can see above, the coffee packaging has a really classy look to it and it links back to how i say if something looks more expensive then people are will to pay more even thought the brown paper bag is such a simple design yet still works really well for what you are expecting.

The dark brown on the light brown paper bag really throws of a great contrast in which it gives this high value effect for such a cheap price.

CMYK

This packaging for a telephone provider so that the internet and TV boxes can be stored inside them have a really nice way of looking at how they plan to work it out with the CMYK colour theory, the way in which they do this is through the means of a simple design where the inks have had to link together to make it work to the crisp finish which is defiantly needed to make this simple design work.

The CMYK is quite clear in this little image above which shows the tons on the outside of the casing, the cyan and yellow are easy to see yet the magenta seems to have alittle mix of maybe cyan in there to try and darken it up alittle then the purple/violet on the left side has to be a deep cyan and magenta to make this.

These are a really creative style of graphic design which will link the CMYK colour printing process into a style in which can really work for the best of the ways in which you can see things, the way in which they can all have inter changeable heads on them and how they are going to link together and then this also adds the value of all of them cause they then become a collectable.

Spot Colour

This spot colour on this packaging is something really simple which then grabs the attention of the audience really quickly and it makes you see what you need to see and shows you the key feature of what is going on and what you need to see for this to be effective, The cyan on this can make it really simple and make it work really well cause it stands out against the black and the white background which stands there form the start. This is defiantly something which catches the eye and makes you want to see whats going on on the inside.

The vibrant glowing orange which has been created on this box is something that really means alot of the way in which i think and feel about the whole aspect of whats going on, this is defiantly something that has worked perfectly cause it grabs your attention instantly and grabs your attention.

This has been used to make it increase the visual price and make it appear as if it is worth more than it actually is, personally for me it has worked.
