Stock Options & Print Finishing... Packaging and Promotion

This is a design i found on the GF Smith website, this is something which i really think has a strong way to look at it, the way in which the spot colour has been used over the top of the silver foil printed based colour which has been left around the white so that it has a very distinguished design layout towards it. The yellow then catches your eye for this reason and in turn makes it the key feature of the design even though its not the special print technique that i have choose this design for.

This again is another style of foil print onto some simple stock, i think the gold on the beige background works the best as the white stock makes it all look a bit cheap and tacky in my eyes. The beige background has a way of creating a more dignified design and a way in which you can really turn out the design process and make things look alot stronger than they can

This is a style of printing which really has a simple aspect towards it however it could create something which has a strong design towards it and really stand out form the crown and then in turn make something appear and be more expensive than it actually is. The stock appears to be a simple tracing paper or something along the lines of 80gsm, Then on top when the printing of the ink, or maybe the spot varnish (however i don't think that this is the reason for this) This then can transfer through the paper and create a strong concept on the way in which it will work.
