This is a editorial layout which really has a strong vibe to the way in which it has been created, the way in which the gun shot metal stock has been embossed to show off the type below really influences the way in which you can see how it all links together, This is for a Waterstones book which adds a new way of looking at there publications and all in all really changes the way in which they have created and published books for the past few years.
This is another fancy design style which links in with the idea of what it is trying to say, by using a spot varnish to just show the glossy of the text so you are unable to read it when you just look at it straight on, this really shows how you can see it and how you want to be able to see it, you can only see this when you catch it in a certain light and then this still communicates the message perfectly to what you would want and what you would expect it to be doing.
