This is a creative illustrator design for "Runners world Magazine" which has a really fresh design style although i cant find anything which makes it stand out in the magazine and i cant find the finished publication, Ill keep looking about and when i come across it ill post this in my context area aswell so we can see the final composition on how this all fits together and what works best with each area.
The style in which is has been drawn though on the body of the runner. i think the artist has captured what needs to be caught and makes it look almost like the muscle strands of the runner, i think it also nearly adds movement to the image and makes you feel like he is really going for it and changing the way in which she is stood in that stance. The background is only just behind the runner so that it doesnt make the image too complex and overpower it, as this would then make it confusing and ruin the balance of the positive and negative spacing on the background.
